Promotional Offer

Upgrade your Community plan to the Basic plan with an Intro space included, or the Basic plan with a Medium space and get the first 2 months free (“Free Period”). Promotional Terms and Conditions apply.

To participate in this promotional offer, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

All Community plan customers are eligible to participate in the promotion within the Promotional Period as defined below.

The promotion can be claimed for your Community account by any user on the account with the role of organization owner.

The limited time promotional offer can be claimed between September 6, 2023, 00:01 AM PDT and October 29, 2023 11:59 PM PDT (“Promotional Period”).

Upon claiming the offer and upgrading your Community plan to the Basic plan with an Intro space included, or a Basic plan with a Medium space, you receive 2 calendar months free effective from the day of claiming the offer (“Free Period”).

This promotional offer does not apply to and may not be claimed by:

• Eligible Community plan customers after expiration of the Promotional Period;
• Non-organzation owners, or
• Organization owners on any non-Community plan, including but not limited to, Free plan, Team plan, Basic plan, Enterprise plan, Premium plan.

To claim the offer via an email you received:

1. Click on the link in the email.
2. Log into your Community account on the web app. You will be taken to the page where you can claim the offer on your selected space license. If you are logged into your account, you will be taken directly to the page where you can claim the offer.
3. By clicking "Upgrade now", you agree to Contentful’s Promotional Terms and Conditions.

To claim the offer in the web app:

1. Log into your Community account on the web app.
2. Click on the promotional offer banner displayed in the web app and click “Claim offer”. This will display the page where you can claim the offer on your selected space license.
3. By clicking "Upgrade now", you agree to Contentful’s Promotional Terms and Conditions.

You must add credit card and billing information to upgrade and purchase a new space.

Once the Free Period ends you will be billed monthly. Self-service subscriptions on the Basic plan are offered on a month-to-month, cancel-anytime basis in accordance with Contentful’s Terms of Service.

If you choose to cancel your self-service Basic subscription, you will be downgraded to the new Free plan. Please note it is not possible to downgrade to the legacy Community plan.

If you choose to cancel your subscription after the Free Period, requests to downgrade must be submitted at the latest 1 week in advance of the end of your Free Period.

To downgrade a space:

1. Log in to the Contentful web app.
2. Navigate to the top-left corner of the pane, click your organization name, then click Organization settings & subscriptions.
3. Select the "Spaces" tab, navigate to the "Spaces table" and click Change beside the space you would like to downgrade.
4. Select the available space to downgrade. Here you can compare space limits against your current usage.
5. Click Confirm.
