As announced via email on July 20th, 2026, Contentful is rotating its SAML SP signing certificate. The cut-over, originally planned for September 16, 2026, will now take place on Monday, September 21, 2026.

If your IdP is configured to verify Contentful's SAML request signatures or encrypt SAML assertions using Contentful's SP certificate:

• If your IdP supports multiple SAML certificates, re-import the SAML SP metadata before the cut-over so both the current and new certificates are configured.
• If your IdP supports only one SAML certificate, re-import the SAML SP metadata after the cutover on September 21 to pick up the new certificate.

If your IdP does not use Contentful's SP certificate for either of these purposes, no action is required.
