About the Opportunity

We are hiring a Manager of Business Development to join us in our London office! The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing and scaling BDR teams, driving revenue growth, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve company goals. You will drive high performance through coaching, metrics tracking, and strategic guidance. This role is responsible for developing BDRs into top talent for future sales roles, defining go-to-market strategies, and optimizing team productivity through close collaboration with Sales Operations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the business development process.

Note: Our offices are located in Central London.

What to expect?

  • Set and define the Enterprise Sales Development go-to-market strategy for EMEA
  • Hire, develop and inspire Business Development Representatives into candidates for further development within the sales organization
  • Proactively manage underperformance and identify potential flight risks through regular performance reviews and one-on-ones, ensuring team stability and consistent headcount across the Business Development function.
  • Create reporting on defined daily, weekly and monthly metrics to sales & marketing leadership and be prepared to present these back to senior leadership 
  • Motivate individuals on the BDR team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular recognition of top performance, and inspirational leadership
  • Work with Sales Operations to identify, and implement recommendations for improvement in the areas of BDR efficiency, tools and productivity
  • Work with Marketing to launch, manage and execute on campaigns that drive pipeline for the business
  • Work with Sales Enablement to develop and deliver high quality training programs that support BDR growth and increased performance
  • Experience developing processes where ones don’t previously exist
  • Maintain a strong focus on outcomes and impact
  • Develop your team’s skills for prospecting, qualifying, and Opportunity creation
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development
  • Closely monitor metrics with the aim to increase productivity

What you need to be successful

  • 5+ years of B2B technology Sales, Sales Development or Inside Sales experience
  • 2+ years prospecting as an individual contributor 
  • 2+ years of experience leading and scaling teams with a proven track record meeting and exceeding targets in a competitive and results-driven environment, and also promoting SDRs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and influence others by example
  • Excellent working knowledge of prospecting tools such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io…etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in spoken and written English. German, French and/or Dutch is a plus
  • Proficient with sales technology tools including CRM (Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred), sales engagement platforms, Google Applications, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization including sales, marketing, product, and engineering.
  • B2B SaaS, Digital marketing and eCommerce experience (CMS, SEO, PPC, Display, Social Media) experience is a plus
  • Demonstrates entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical skills
  • Start-up experience preferred
