About the Opportunity
Contentful is the leading content platform for digital-first businesses, enabling teams to unify content and deliver it at scale. We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager (f/m/d) to own the go-to-market strategy for our AI product group, starting with our AI Actions capability. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the product’s positioning, messaging, and adoption strategy. You will collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, GTM PMM, Pricing & Packaging, and Enablement teams to develop compelling strategies and materials that resonate with business audiences. You will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing.

What to Expect
- Product Positioning & Messaging: You will develop clear, compelling, and differentiated product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with Contentful’s overall brand narrative. You will focus on translating technical concepts and AI capabilities into business-oriented value propositions that resonate with content, marketing, and digital teams.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: To support the growth of our AI offering, you will conduct ongoing market and competitive research. Staying ahead of AI trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions, you will synthesize insights into actionable recommendations that influence product strategies and roadmap decisions.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution: You will collaborate with Product Management and GTM PMM to craft and execute go-to-market plans for new AI features and enhancements. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you will develop launch materials, campaigns, and strategies designed to drive adoption, expansion, and customer success. You will also work closely with Pricing & Packaging teams to ensure go-to-market strategies are aligned with business goals.
- Sales Enablement: You will partner with GTM PMM and Field Enablement teams to create impactful sales enablement tools such as pitch decks, competitive battle cards, business case materials, and product demos. Your goal will be to ensure Sales is equipped to confidently position and sell AI Actions based on tangible business value.
- Storytelling & Thought Leadership: You will become a subject matter expert on AI technology, translating complex AI and technical capabilities into relatable, business-focused outcomes. You will create enablement content, demo scripts, and product tours that emphasize how AI supports operational efficiency, content strategy, and business growth. Through storytelling, you will help Contentful stand out as a leader in AI-driven content solutions.
- Performance Measurement: You will track and analyze product marketing performance metrics such as adoption rates, campaign effectiveness, and sales enablement impact. Using these insights, you will optimize GTM strategies and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership for future initiatives.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Experience: 5+ years in product marketing, with at least 2 years focused on SaaS products, AI solutions, or B2B SaaS platforms.
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable explaining APIs, AI features, AI agents, automation features, and platform capabilities in business terms. Able to translate technical and emerging concepts into clear business value propositions.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and influence product roadmaps aligned with company objectives.
- Curiosity & Learning: Demonstrates a growth mindset, with a strong eagerness to research, understand, and explain complex and emerging AI technologies. Comfortable ramping up quickly on new topics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities. Skilled at crafting compelling narratives for business audiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams to align strategies and drive results.
- Analytical Approach: Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable GTM strategies.
- Location: Berlin-based (or willing to relocate). This role will require occasional travel to conferences, events, and Contentful offices worldwide.
