6:30 PM: Markdown my friend, we have to talk - Shy Ruparel (Contentful)
Most people have discovered that WYSIWYG editors are not the best idea when you're dealing with content at scale. Their end format is neither reusable nor portable to other platforms. That said – should we "markdown all the things", or not?
Let's have a look at all the things Markdown is great at, evaluate rough edges and have a look at alternatives like Contentful's Rich Text Editor.

7:00 PM: The Contentful Sidekick - Brad Taylor (Last Rev)
When developing your content model you often have pages that reference many other nested entries. While this is great for reusability, it's hard for editors to look at a page and know exactly where they should go in Contentful to edit a particular part of the page, especially if it's nested 3 or 4 layers deep.
To help with this problem, LastRev has developed The Contentful Sidekick, an open source browser extension that adds a layer of help that shows how the page is put together. Editors of the website can browse a page and get to the content they want to edit, quickly. Come see how it works, what you need to do to your site to enable it, and how to contribute to the project!
