About

In this talk, Aaron looks at the evolution of content management systems, and how new demands on content publishers has led to the development of the headless CMS, while enumerating the main benefits of a model-driven, API-first approach to content management. He conducts a similar retrospective as it applies to the evolution of data and knowledge management, which has resulted in the development of graph-based, semantic knowledge bases usually referred to as knowledge graphs. For the remainder of the talk Aaron explores the opportunities that arise as one starts to merge these two approaches together, and the business benefits that flow from incrementally enriching content with semantics – benefits that include increased efficiency in the production pipeline and the ability to personalize content and superior recommender systems.
