About the opportunity
Contentful is growing! We are on the search for an experienced IT Specialist who will provide on-site technical support to our London office and global employees alike. While a few folks have PCs, we are predominantly an Apple environment. This role will provide assistance with various Apple products - installing, repairing, and providing preventative maintenance of workstations and related software/hardware. In addition, this position is expected to provide a high level of customer service while being able to resolve issues in a timely manner.
What to expect?
- Onsite full time - In person presence for our London office is required.
- 2nd and 3rd level support for IT related topics i.e. user hardware support, password resets, access requests
- Support for different IT systems like video conferencing (Zoom), printers (Konica Minolta), Networking equipment (Meraki)
- Solving ticket requests (Jira ServiceDesk)
- AV Support for events and audio/video equipment (Crestron, Zoom)
- Hardware preparation, inventory management, shipping, and maintenance (Apple, Lenovo, Dell)
- Employee onboarding and offboarding (once a week employee onboarding session, account creation, account closing)
- Train non-technical customers on tools such as Atlassian, GSuite, Zoom, Slack, Okta, 1Password
What you need to be successful?
- 2-4 years experience in technical support
- Apple product experience, Microsoft Windows too. Linux is a plus.
- Intermediate understanding of wired and wireless networks
- Know your way around AV technology; Projectors, screens and cabling.
- Intermediate understanding of Zoom Video conferencing and supporting large meetings/webinars.
- Intermediate SaaS experience: GSuite, Slack, Okta, Atlassian, 1Password
- VoIP understanding
- Creative and motivated to find solutions for future requirements
- Attention to detail with a problem-solving approach
- Working autonomously with local users and a global support team
- Demonstrate excellent writing skills
