About the Closest Preview app
The Closest Preview app helps content editors quickly locate pages that contain deeply nested content. For example, it can identify which pages include the current CTA, banner, or component, allowing editors to view them in context. Instead of manually searching for the parent page, the app automatically walks up the content tree to find the nearest page-level entry.
Please note: Closest Preview doesn’t generate a live preview on its own. Instead, it connects you directly to the correct page where your content appears, making it easy to view updates if Contentful’s Live Preview is enabled in your environment.

Requirements
To use this app you will need Contentful Live Preview enabled and configured in your environment, as the Closest Preview app relies on it to display the page preview.
