About the Link Checker app
The Link Checker app helps teams maintain high-quality, trustworthy content by catching broken or risky links before they reach customers. Instead of relying on manual spot checks or ad-hoc scripts, it brings automated URL validation directly into Contentful.
The app scans configured content types for URLs, validates them via an App Function, and shows results in-context so editors know exactly what to fix. Editors can run checks from the entry sidebar or use a dedicated Link Issues page to review and triage problems across entries. Space admins define which content types to monitor, set a current domain for relative links, and manage a deny list for non-production or risky domains, while refined extraction rules help reduce false positives.
