This annual survey, administered by the Content Marketing Institute (CMI) and the Intelligent Content Conference (ICC), captures the biggest opportunities and challenges faced by today’s content teams.

The results reveal that content professionals still find themselves facing a gap in technology to support their daily operations. Content, while increasingly valued as a business asset, still remains siloed across teams and channels, and is burdened by too many manual workflows.

Findings include:

  • “Extended reach of content” is the highest reported benefit achieved as a result of taking a strategic approach to managing content.
  • Yet, 44% rarely/never can repurpose their content without major human intervention.
  • 51% of respondents say their organization has not yet acquired the right technology to manage content across the entire organization.
