Josh Emett
Award-Winning Chef, Restaurateur & Television Personality
Josh Emett is one of New Zealand’s most celebrated chefs, boasting a 30-year career that has taken him through some of the world’s most esteemed kitchens. Having honed his craft under Gordon Ramsay in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Melbourne, Josh rose to national prominence as a judge on MasterChef New Zealand. Today, his culinary ventures span Auckland and Waiheke Island, including the acclaimed Onslow, the coastal luxury of The Oyster Inn, and contemporary European dining at Gilt Brasserie, all showcasing his passion for innovative New Zealand cuisine.
