Localized workflows

Localized workflows allow you to manage translation and review processes across multiple languages within the same space. Once enabled, each localized workflow can be tailored to a specific language, automatically assigning a translator and locale based on your localization settings. This makes it easier to coordinate multilingual content production while maintaining consistent review steps.

When you enable localization in the configuration, there will automatically add two variables to a workflow:

  • Translator: the person or team responsible for translations.

  • Locale: the language or region being targeted.

Each translator has a locale pairing in your “Localization” settings that creates a localized workflow, which will run independently from the other steps.

For example, you can have separate “Translation” workflows for German, Spanish, and French on the same entry. Each of these locales is managed by its own dedicated translator.
