Preview your Timeline releases

Preview a scheduled release

To preview a scheduled release:

1. Log in to the Contentful web app.

2. Navigate to the “Content tab”.  

3. Click on the time picker and select the release you want to preview under the “Scheduled releases” section. The list of entries included in this release is displayed.

4. Click Preview. The preview is displayed with all the changes of any release that happened prior to the scheduled release you are previewing.
   For example, previewing the "Advent calendar" release scheduled for December will also show the changes of "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday" that are taking place in November.
   

   

Preview an unscheduled release

An unscheduled release is one that either does not have a starting date set, or is still in the ideation phase.

To preview an unscheduled release:

1. Log in to the Contentful web app.

2. Navigate to the “Content tab”.  

3. Click on the time picker and select the release you want to preview under the “Unscheduled releases” or the “Ideas” section. The list of entries included in this release is displayed.

4. Click Preview. The preview of your unscheduled release is displayed.
   To go back to the live version of your release, select Current. The current version of your release is displayed.
